The State Opera

The theatre opened as a German theatre in Prague in 1888 with Wagner’s opera Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg. Tickets are sold several months in advance. They can be purchased at the main box office of the National Theater and State Opera, through the Colosseum Ticket sales network, and online at the National Theater website.
