Le Bistro Montebello

Le Bistro Montebello

Located in Montebello, in the Petite-Nation region, Bistro Montebello is a pub-style restaurant that celebrates the flavors of Quebec’s terroir. Sit back and enjoy generous burgers, reinvented poutines and seasonal dishes featuring fresh local produce in a 200-year-old building. Renowned throughout the region for their famous wood-fired pizzas, the establishment is a gourmet stop not to be missed. Take a seat at a table or at the bar and enjoy comfort food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Located on Notre-Dame Street in the charming tourist village of Montebello, this massive building, over 200 years old, has had many lives: barbershop, florist, funeral home, sporting goods store, bowling alley, and more. It is now home to a restaurant known for its excellent wood-fired pizza.

The restaurant offers two distinct spaces. At the front, you’ll find the cozier and more intimate “Bistro” section, perfect for groups of around 30 people. In the larger dining area, where church pew-style banquettes line the wall, the ambiance is warm and lively. You can watch the chefs busy preparing your favorite pizza in the wood-fired oven. A counter is also available for those who wish to enjoy an aperitif while waiting for their takeout order.

Recently Boomertravelling went to this establishment and found a wide variety of dishes at reasonable prices. In addition, the location is open during the week when many other establishments are closed.

We enjoyed a variety of pizzas, cheese trays, wine and more.

Due to its popularity, we suggest making a reservation.
