Cafe Elefant
Cafe Elefant has been greeting guests for more than 200 years since 1715.
Cafe Elefant is a cozy cafe, which serves delicious coffee and a wide variety of hand-made cakes and desserts, made from high-quality ingredients. It is located in the historical center of Karlovy Vary, at the main spa promenade. Cafe Elefant has a big terrace, which is also open during the winter months, a cozy balcony with a great view of the city, and an inside space, which has recently been renovated.
Here you can taste both classic and modern desserts and cakes, as well as special treats, which we offer on a limited basis only. In cafe elefant, we serve high-quality wines, prosecco, various mixed drinks, as well as delicious cherry punch and mulled wine, which is especially popular during the cold months. We also serve breakfasts.
We dined in this cafe twice. Our fist outing was sitting outside on the patio where we were able to watch the tours and people go by. We ordered lunch.
Our second visit was for a quick breakfast before leaving for Prague. This time we ordered yogurt and granola and lattes. The helpings were good and we felt like we were accomplishing our healthy eating goals before our journey.
