Ugly Dog Saloon & BBQ

The Ugly Dog Saloon & BBQ opened in 1998 and has provided BBQ in the heart of the New Orleans Warehouse District. We decided to try this establishment after seeing a promotion with Marriott offering additional reward points. Yes, as frequent travellers, we keep track of points and are often looking for great bargains in addition to good food.

Ugly Dog is not a fancy establishment but rather more like a local hangout. It is relaxed with friendly staff, a vast menu of beers and other drinks and a pool table that was in use during our visit.

It was a short walk from where we were staying so it was a quick stop before a night on the town. If you want a relaxed atmosphere with an old fashion feel, you may want to stop in and try the ribs and sides.

We ordered ribs, potato salad and beer.
