Perkins

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is an American casual dining restaurant chain that serves breakfast and other homestyle meals throughout the day in addition to bakery items such as pies, muffins and other sweets. As of April 2023, the company operates 273 locations.

Perkins is not a fancy dining experience but we have been going there (especially in Orlando) for many years with the family. Portions can be split (especially if you choose to add pancakes to your order) so it is possible to get out spending less money.

Our kids have always liked the Granny Omelette and pancakes but the apple cinnamon muffin is a great second choice. Unlimited coffee definitely helps for the bleary eyed who have spent far too many days at theme parks or malls (usually us when we go to Orlando).

Again, this is not a fancy place but the location on International Drive is located in a convenient spot.

It is amazing when you travel some places and things just bring back memories. Perkins is not our favourite spot of high quality food but we try to go at least once when we are in Orlando because it does bring back a lot of memories.

Perkins also serves lunch and dinner but we have only eaten dinner once after an extensive day shopping where most other places were closing on International Drive.
