Located at 23 Abercorn Street in the heart of Savannah’s National Historic Landmark District, The Olde Pink House has earned the distinction of being one of Savannah’s most acclaimed restaurants and historic sites. Originally built in 1771 as the home of James Habersham, Jr., this National Landmark overlooking Reynolds Square has earned numerous culinary awards. Under the leadership of Executive Chef Vincent Burns and General Manager Craig Jeffress, The Olde Pink House warmly welcomes visitors from across the country and around the world.
I have always loved the Olde Pink House. With its ghostly reputation as being one of the most haunted restaurants where patrons in the basement bathroom have had the door locked on them, it is a favourite for those wanting the unusual.
Besides that reputation, this landmark is such a pretty house with several floors, many rooms and details throughout only seen in past centuries.
The food is exquisite and the presentation is outstanding. This visit did not disappoint.
