This establishment reminds me of an ‘old world’ establishment with its heavy wood and decor.
Because we had just arrived in New Orleans from a long drive from Nashville, we were not really in the mood for a heavy meal. We have visited this establishment many times over the years. We decided like other times to dine in the bar area.
We chose gumbo and a Caesar salad. It was enough to fill us up, keep our bill low and enjoy our first evening in New Orleans in a familiar environment.
Location: 716 Iberville St, New Orleans, LA 70130
Our meal was a light array of appetizers including gumbo and salad.
